Copper Cross Tomahawk

Sold

A handsome tomahawk clad in copper fittings. The heavy steel head is filed and carved on the upper and lower edges, polished, blued and rubbed for an aged patina. A foliage pattern is acid-etched into the blade. The copper cap has a steel spike finial. The grip has three large bands of copper set onto a dark, richly-figured curly maple handle, partially lathe-turned. The mouthpiece is turned Blackwood and antler, and the pipe is drilled for smoking. A copper cross is secured to each side of the upper grip.

The hawk is 20" long, and the head is 6.5" long.
