Years ago,
I used to build black powder pistols and rifles
from kits. Periodically, I pick up a nice weapon
and grip it in ivory or ivory substitute, scrimshaw
it, and case it.
The cases often
have been fine old humidors picked up in antique
stores that I gutted, refinished, and fitted
in silver cloth or felt.
