Reverse side of sheath showing belt loop.
Obverse side of knife.
An elegant take on the railroad spike knife. Hand-forged with a long grip and broad blade. The spike head is left intact, markings still visible. The grip is bone, with cast pewter bolsters and steel pins. The blade is patinaed a dark brown/blue. A bit different from your basic heat and twist treatment.
The heavy vegetable-tanned pouch sheath is wet-formed around the blade for a close fit, covered in a stamped alligator veneer, and saddle stitched with heavy waxed cotton thread.
