Bowie Knife 'Windtalkers'

In the penultimate scene of 'Windtalkers' this knife was used by Adam Beach to kill about half the Japanese army.

The Bowie has a hand-forged 1095 steel blade with an elk handle. The guard is formed from solid brass. The blade and guard are well patinated, as was the original prop weapon.

The sheath is crafted of buckskin over a heavy inner leather and hand-stitched with artificial sinew. A handcut buckskin fringe extends from the lower edge of the sheath..

Overall length of the Bowie knife is 14.5”. The blade is 9.5" long and 1/8" thick.
