This scrimshaw-grade powderhorn has turned horn spout and redwood plug with dyed center section and engrailed edge. The body is relief-carved and the center oval is inlaid with black stingray skin.

The base plug is shaped like a buttstock and made of redwood heartwood with a filed base and tung oil finish. Base is fastened with 12 wood pins. Horn is colored for a fine aged look. Two blued-steel gunstock swivels provide attachment for your carry strap.

From tip of spout to base plug, the horn measures 11.5" along the outside curve. The horn base is 1.5" x 3.25".

This is a beautiful powderhorn set for a fine muzzleloader.
