16" long scrimshaw-grade
white powderhorn with fluted spout and 7-flat
neck.
A rosewood fiddle peg plugs the spout and the base is turned walnut with
turned-brass plug. Copper nails secure the horn to the pressure-fitted
base.
A braided leather
strap attaches to the butt with a leather frog
and to the
spout with a leather Turk's knot. Strap is
decorated with a horsehair
scalplock and glass beads.
