An elegant
little primer/pistol horn, with a maple base
and brass tacks. The
body has a rich old patina, with deep engrailing.
The carved spout is plugged
with a fiddle peg.
The horn is 6" long, with
a 2" x 1 ¾" oval
base.
(The gun is a
Queen Anne style flintlock from the 17th century.
I built it
for use as a background accompaniment to some
of my photos. It's not for sale at this time.)
