A very fancy black bison powderhorn, with a turned spout and spout plug, and fluted behind the strap ring. The body is lightly polished to show the natural texture of the horn.  The base plug is carved in an oval to match the natural shape of the horn, and is dyed a deep red. Large pins secure the base and are dyed red as well.  The red cotton and leather strap is adjustable, and attached to the base with a rifle sling swivel. The horn is 11" long, with a diameter of 3 1/4" at the base.
