Browning Scrimshawed .380 Pistol

fromSold-Commissioned

A nice Colt 1911-based Browning .380 Pistol with faux ivory grips provided by the owner and scrimshawed by the artist with a pointilism technique.

The owner also lives in Tucson, AZ. The left grip shows a Coyote, which is a common sight even in the middle of the city, and especially at night. The right grip depicts a well-known rock formation in the Santa Rita mountains (Finger Rock), which is visible to most of Tucson.
