A
very elegant and well-balanced tomahawk. The
steel head is filed and carved on the upper
and lower edges, and blued and rubbed for an
aged patina. The cleanout plug is African Blackwood
set into a riveted steel cap. The grip has
two large bands of poured pewter set into a
dark, richly-figured curly maple handle. The
lower grip is carved with 6 grooves. The mouthpiece
is turned Blackwood, and the pipe is drilled
for smoking. A sterling silver feather is secured
to each side of the upper grip.
The hawk is 20” long, and the head is
6.5” long.
