A very large-capacity bison powder horn, polished smooth, with a turned hickory base and turned horn spout. The beatifully grained domed base plug has a large pierced peg for strap attachment, and is secured with ten large brass tacks. A heat-applied horn ring is secured to the body with small brass tacks. The graceful horn spout is elegantly turned and finished with a turned maple spout plug.

The horn body is 14” along the back curve and overall length from base to spout plug is 16.5”. The base is 3.25” in diameter.
