A  slender presentation quality French and Indian (F&I) powderhorn. The body has a deep curve and twist and is suitable for left-hand carry. The horn has been dyed green and patinated. The lobe is decoratively pierced with varied diameter holes.

The screw-tipped spout is turned from maple and fits tightly. The spout plug is maple as well

The low domed base plug is turned hickory with ring patterns and a low profile strap button, which is designed to protect the lobe from stress. The elk  strap laces pass through a single hole in the lobe and secured to the strap button. The strap is dyed cotton with end reinforcements of green leather. The spout and base are stained, oiled and secured with wood pegs.

The horn is 18" long and 2.5" in diameter at the base.
