This straight-bladed Plains Indian-styled knife is forged in tempered 1095 steel. The slender blade is has a slightly swept point. The blade is hand-rubbed to a satin finish with a dark acid patina, in the traditional broken back configuration.

The hand-fitting grip is the cannon bone of an elk, polished smooth and beautifully aged, with the 'knuckle' at the pommel. Copper wire is wrapped around the forward end and two copper pins secure the grip to the hidden tang.

The heavy vegetable-tanned leather sheath is wet-molded and hand-riveted with varied sizes of brass tacks. The mouth of the sheath is wrapped with a fringed and hand-beaded buckskin belt-stop. The leather is finished with Neatsfoot oil.

The blade is 7” long and3/32" thick. The grip is 5" and the overall length of the knife is 12”.
