Price: $700

Add to Cart

A beautiful and unique forged presentation pipe tomahawk with a turned curly maple handle handle. The double-bearded polished steel head is hand-forged from high-carbon steel and polished to a satin finish. The blade is deeply blued with a hardened and tempered edge. The upper curve and eye of the blade are enhanced with an elaborate vine filework. The waisted pipe bowl is octagonal in shape with a filed band, with an octagonal neck as well.

The handle is curly maple, turned on the lower portion and transitioning to a traditional teardrop profile on the upper section. Two wide cast-in pewter bands are incised with filed grooves. The wood is finished with aqua fortis and a light stain, with several hand-rubbed layers of tung oil applied.

The pipe stem is walnut, and the clean-out plug of lathe-turned from Cocobolo burl.

The presentation tomahawk measures 20", and the head is 6" long, with a 2.5” edge.
