Banded Powder Horn with Antler Spout For Sale

A gracefuliy twisted medium-sized powder horn for right-hand carry, with lathe-turned bands and spout..
The turned deer antler spout is secured into the horn body, with an intricately turned horn spout plug. A strap groove is carved into the horn just below the anter spout. A turned horn band is heat-formed and wood-pegged in the center of the horn body, and a complementary turned horn collar sits below the turned pine base plug and strap finial. The body is patinated a rich honey color.
A gold and black woven strap is included.
The horn is 14" long and 2.25" in diameter at the base.
