* A unique and beautiful dagger, hand-forged in carbon steel with the classical form of an ancient bronze weapon. The weighty needle-pointed knife blade flows down to an integral steel grip, which is wrapped in copper sheet and hammered. Brass wire and tacks further highlight the hexagonal grip of the knife. The pommel is turned and oiled walnut. The bade is deeply blued.

The complementary sculpted knife stand is ironwood bark and brass-wire wrapped around formed copper rod.

The blade is 4.5” long and 1.75” wide, and the knife is 9.75” overall. It is 9” tall in the stand.

* Accepted for display at the 2012 Arizona Designer Craftsman (ADC) Craftsmanship juried show
