This forged desk knife is nether sleek nor elegant; it is a bit of a brute. It was forged from a very old chisel, and the pitting is natural. It provides a non-slip grip to the hexagonal handle. The blade has a smooth satin finish and is browned a deep rust color.

The sculpted knife stand is from an equally pitted section of steel block, and the handle is supported by a section of an old wrench, which is solidly welded to the base.

The desk knife is 9’’ long, with a 4.5” long blade. The base block is approximately 2’’ x 4.5’’ and stands 6’’ high. The ensemble weighs over 4 pounds! Tipping is not an issue.
