Forged Bamboo Door Knocker

Sold: $175

A unique and elegant hand-forged steel and copper door knocker with a Japanese ambiance. Heavy steel pipe is hand-forged into a realistic facsimile of bamboo and mounted on a heavily-textured 1/8” steel striking plate. A cold-forged copper leaf gently wraps the bamboo section. The steel pieces are patinaed a dark plum brown.

The 15’’ x 3’’ plate is provided with 4 mounting holes. The piece weighs a hefty 3.5 lbs.
