A whimsical and unusual flattened fish powder horn, designed for bag carry. The flat polished dark body has an aged golden brown patina and the spout is carved to represents the head of a trout.

The walnut fiddle-peg spout plug is carved as a little fishtail, and the inset base is curly maple. The base is secured with eight iron tacks.

The horn is a compact 6" along the long curve from base to tip, and the base is 4’’ x 1.5’’.
