Forged Horned Tomahawk

Award WinningSold: $1100

A bit of a departure, a robust and elegant “fantasy” tomahawk. The heavy blade is hand-forged from high-carbon steel, with a file-worked double-scalloped blade and hot-twisted, sculpted horns extending from the back.

A copper, brass and aluminum mosaic eye adorns the head on each side. The blade is polished and deeply blued. The head is capped with a brushed nickel-silver plate and mosaic pin.

A cast-in place pewter collar and two pewter rings adorn the hand-carved chechen wood haft. Two more mosaic pins are placed on each side of the grip. The wood is finished in a rich dark stain, with several hand-rubbed layers of tung oil applied.

The hawk blade is 7.5” long and the overall length of the handle is 18”. » read customer feedback
