This is a very pretty little dagger, with a beautifully patterned Damascus blade.

The blade is hand-forged Sanmai Damascus, with 17-layer sections of 15N20 and 1095 forge-welded to either side of a thick section of 5150, repeated until 103 layers were achieved. The blade was forged, ground and filed to shape with a double-edged triangle section, and then polished and etched to bring out the pattern.

The Birdseye Thuya burl wood grip is lathe-turned and carved to shape. The grip has a solid brass hexagonal pommel and deeply filed brass guard. The matching Thuya wood sheath is finished with a solid brass frog/belt stud. 

Total length of the piece is 10", with a 5.25" blade.
