Ivory Handled Skinner Knife (Commissioned)

Commissioned Work

A new favorite, a small hunting knife with a hand-forged 1095 steel blade and beautiful old ivory handle scales. The blade has a textured forge-scale finish with a polished wedge edge, and is blued. The grip scales are backed with black fiber, chamfered along all edges and secured with rivets of aluminum, copper and brass. The tang is 1/8” thick.

The pouch sheath is wet-molded from heavy vegetable-tanned leather and stained black.

The knife is 7.25” overall with a 3” triangular blade.
