A simple forged patch/bag knife with a patinaed antler handle. Forge marks and scale are left on the back of the sturdy spring steel dropped point blade. An iron staple is driven into the butt.

The unique 130 grain powder measure is made from wet-molded heavy rawhide, stitched into a tube with sinew, secured to an antler base with brass tacks, and waterproofed with a lacquer finish. A pour spout is molded into the end. An iron staple is driven into the base. Beeswax can be used to reduce the measure’s capacity for an individual’s preferred load.

The blade is 3.5” long and 1/8” thick, and the knife is 7” long. The measure is 2.5” tall and 7/8” wide.
