Primer Powder Horn With Flask Top For Sale

A small and handy priming horn with a gently curved white body with three horn bands. The brass flask top is spring loaded and has a 12 grain spout. Small domed tacks secure the charging spout to the horn, with a small brass strap ring set into the spout band. The turned horn bands are heat applied to the body. A turned maple beehive base plug with a brass strap ring completes the piece, and is secured with small domed brass tacks. The horn is gently patinaed for an aged look.
The horn body is 8" along the back curve, and the total length is 12". The horn is 2" in diameter.
